He was born in 1968 in Alsancak, Izmir.
In 1985, he graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School.
In 1991, he graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine.
In 1992-1993, he completed his compulsory service in Muş Bulanık district and Muş State Hospital emergency room.
He completed his military service in Bitlis in 1994-1995.
He completed his doctorate in Anatomy in 1996-2001.
Between 2003-2010, he worked as an assistant professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anatomy and contributed to the establishment of problem-based learning.
In 2010, he returned to Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine with the title of associate professor.
He served as deputy chief physician in 2013-2014.
In 2018, he became the chief physician of Dokuz Eylül University Hospital.
In 2018, he established and opened the GETAT (Traditional and Complementary Medicine) Center at Dokuz Eylül University.
In 2018, he established the Lyme Research Center at Dokuz Eylül University.
He gave anatomy and acupuncture lectures at Democracy University, Eastern Mediterranean University, Bakırçay University, Katip Çelebi University and Okan University.
He gave speeches on anatomy, acupuncture and ozonotherapy in many congresses.
In 2020, he left Dokuz Eylül University and started working in his own clinic.
