What is Energy Medicine?
In the last 20 years, energy medicine has gone from being an alternative pursuit to a favorite of leading thinkers in conventional medicine. In an interview in 2007, Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of the Cardiovascular Surgery Institute at Columbia University, said that "energy medicine is the next frontier in medicine".

Those of us interested in acupuncture and our predecessors have been discussing the location of these points for millennia. What we discuss is not the effect of that point. Because when we apply the same point to hundreds of patients, we already get the same effect. What we discuss is that although we have been able to show the channels we call meridians in the last 20 years, we still do not have complete information about many points. We are discussing and searching for why-why. If we consider the human body as a machine, we can call this system we call meridians the ghost system in the machine, or more precisely the soul. The soul is not stable, it stays within the limits of the machine, but it is fluid, it radiates energy to its surroundings.

We have very good news for you here. It is very important to find the right point in acupuncture, especially acupuncturists who are in tune with this energy are known to be able to instinctively determine the necessary point and depth. In this respect, I find myself very lucky, from time to time, while my hand is inserting the needle at the right acupuncture point, the patient may suddenly think of allergies or knee pain. And at moments when the patient does not know exactly what I am doing at that point. This shows that the physician and the patient are in deep harmony. Tesla's famous quote may guide us: "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, you must think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration".
