Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of concentration in which the conscious and subconscious mind are simultaneously open. During hypnosis we perceive the events around us, so hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep or unconsciousness. There is no such thing as not waking up after hypnosis.

During the hypnosis session, the person becomes open to suggestions. Since he/she is conscious during this time, he/she only tells the events he/she wants to tell.

Hypnosis is actually a natural state, sometimes we reach the place we want to go while driving or walking without realizing it. The hypnosis applied in therapy is not in the form of fainting and sobering up for demonstration purposes, but in the form of blindfolded speech. Hypnosis is similar to daydreaming or the state before falling asleep. When we come out of hypnosis, we can remember what we said while we were hypnotized. Even if the hypnotherapist leaves the room without ending the session, after a while the person gets up and goes back to his/her daily life. The client is always in control. Hypnosis can be applied in mild, moderate or profound degrees, there is no superiority between them to the healing process of the individual, it is decided according to the situation. Hypnosis takes place at the request and participation of the person. The hypnotist gives suggestions to the person who voluntarily agrees to be hypnotized.

What is Hypnotherapy?

It is a process of change in which flashbacks and/or suggestions are used while in a state of hypnosis in order to get rid of problems.

The number of sessions is individualized and varies according to the personality, the desire to heal, the belief that the therapy will heal, the problem, the number of years the problem has been going on, and the fullness of the subconscious mind.
